For those who have some running and jumping experience and would like to expand their skills, Billy Santoro, Willie McCarthy and Jeff Murphy will be offering advice and instruction at the Advanced Steeplechase Clinic at 10AM on March 5th at the Advanced Steeplechase Clinic in Monkton, MD. Are you or do you know of a junior or young rider with aspirations of becoming a jockey? If yes, then check out the MSA Young Rider Racing Clinic, which will be held on March 12th at Dodon Farm in Davidsonville, MD at 11AM. Attendees should be 18 years old and under and able to walk, trot and canter in control, we will teach you the rest! Jumping not required and no one will be asked to do anything they are not comfortable with. This clinic is designed to introduce young newcomers to steeplechase and flat racing, as well as give established junior and young riders an opportunity to further their skills. Participants will be grouped by ability level. Riders must provide their own mount. An MSA representative will be on had for those seeking approval to ride in the junior field master’s chase series.
