Pennsylvania trainer Leslie Young may have dominated the headlines this past weekend for three wins in last Saturday’s $167,000 Legacy Chase at Shawan Downs (plus two 2nds, a 3rd a 6th, a 7th with a total of 7 finishes out of 9 starts). But Maryland’s Jack Fisher, despite having only one win, may actually have had the better overall weekend, with 9 finishes out of 9 starts: one win, three 2nds, one 3rd, three 4ths and one 5th. Conditions are as follows: 3 miles; fences not to exceed 3’6”. For lady amateur riders. For 5 year olds and upward. Weight 150 lbs. Horse which has run in a sanctioned race, add 5 lbs.
