NEW POST TIME & PURSES FOR HOWARD COUNTY CUP
The 77th running of the Howard County Cup Races will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021. Gates will open at Noon. Post time for the Howard County Cup Open Timber is 1 p.m.
Races
The two timber races will be open to all qualifying horses. The Howard County Cup will feature a $1,500 purse, and there will be a $1,000 trainer bonus for the day; click here for conditions. To enter horses in a timber race, visit www.centralentryoffice.com.
Tailgating
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s Howard County Cup Races are not open to the general public. Tailgating will be free and limited to members, alumni, friends and supporters of the club, and those traveling with the horses and horsemen, with the caveat that current social distancing protocols be observed during the day.
