Don’t miss out on the Green Spring Valley Pt-to-Pt, the first stop in the Maryland Steeplechase Association Governor’s Cup Series. The races will be held at Shawan Downs. For a preview of the races, click HERE. The day kicks off with pony and junior races featuring THIRTY EIGHT entries! The day also includes three timber and three flat races. In the Open Timber, look for the 2016 MSA Timber Horse of the Year, Serene Harbor, who makes his first start since he finished fourth in the Maryland Hunt Cup last spring. This is the first stop for many timber horses as a result late snowfall forced several point to points and the Foxhall Team Chase to be canceled.
